Generation Eight is proud to partner with PT Connections, the new education department at Phoenix Theatre, to provide exciting programming for you and your family. PT Connections believes arts enrichment is essential to the development of the whole individual, no matter what age, and that the arts can provide a cornerstone for the development of life skills. With programs like Partners That Heal, e-Books Live!, Talk Backs after performances, and many others, PT Connections now has a program that will entertain and educate every member of the family.

American Red Cross Grand Canyon Chapter

Generation Eight has partnered with the Grand Canyon Chapter of the American Red Cross to promote health and safety education and training to families and children in a fun way.

• Is your son or daughter talking to you about becoming a babysitter?
• Are they currently providing babysitting services?
• Do they have the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants?

The nationally recognized Red Cross Babysitter's Training program gives young adults the ability to take on the responsibility of a job and the training they need to act in an emergency. It is also a piece of mind for parents to know their children are in the care of a Red Cross-trained babysitter.

This unique interactive, educational format provides youth ages 11 to 15 with a classroom based experience that covers topics such as injury prevention, first aid and basic care skills, decision making and leadership.

Looking for family fun? Generation Eight has partnered with the Maricopa Partnership for Arts and Culture's What'll We Do, Museum or Zoo? These illustrated pages explore 16 of Greater Phoenix's non-profit arts and culture organizations, with additional information on other institutions throughout the region. The rhyming text also features a Spanish translation side-by-side on each page, to give all families the resources to explore the community we call home. What'll We Do, Museum or Zoo? has been produced by MPAC and has been made possible thanks to generous grants from JP Morgan Chase and Helios Education Foundation.
